Party fever

My birthday is on the 14th of August, this year I've held a party, I asked everyone to dress up and I've made a compilation of some pictures and outfits which I think are fabulous!

This is me, a few weeks before my party I went on a shopping trip to Rome, there I bought this dress, my clutch and my shoes! I found my dress the very last day in the Armani store, I was so happy because three days of full time shopping and no party dress really started to discourage me!

About me and my blog

Hello fashionistas, friends everyone else

My name is Margot and I live in De Haan, it's a rather small community on the Belgian coast. I think it's the most beautiful place to spend your days. Since I am a student I actually have two "homes", my second one is Ghent. I share an apartment with my brother and it really feels like home too. The atmosphere in Ghent is just perfect for youngsters, the whole city is kind of dominated by students, which makes you feel alive and vibrant all the time. Actually I have a third home, my best friend lives in Antwerp and I often go there to relax and get away from my daily life.

My favorite things to do are hanging out with my girlfriends, which most of the time means girlsnight with drinks, movies, food and some music. Other than this I like shopping, reading the newspaper, watching detectives,cars and eating! I have always been fascinated by the fact that so many people have such a different style, they don't always wear the things I would like but I think that's just great.

This means my blog will be mostly concentrated on 'style on the street', different trends out of different styles with different price ranges are my main subject. I mean, we all like Chanel dresses but the price won't let us wear it, so I think it's useful to show in what price ranges you can find similar dresses.
A girl always feels better with some make up and her hair done just right, so my second objective  is to learn and show how you can look at your best.

Other than this I'm very often asthonished by the beauty of nature, so pictures of sunsets,landscapes, rainbows and others will also pass by.

It's just my first blog and it will be a journey for me, advice and help is always welcome!
